OpenSea is the official marketplace for Zed Run horses. If you miss out on a drop and want to purchase a horse, you can find all Genesis and bred horses that are being sold by their owners in OpenSea. Horses can be bought using WETH (Matic), which means that the gas fees for buying or listing are very minimal, if any.
Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to purchase a Zed Run horse in Open Sea.
- Go to OpenSea.io
- Type ‘Zed Run’ in the search bar and click on the ‘Zed Run’ result with a blue checkmark
- From here, you can begin to navigate and look at horses
- Or, you can use the filters on the left-hand side of the page to narrow your search results. You can filter by Bloodline (Nakamoto, Szabo, Finney, or Buterin), Breed type (Genesis, Legendary, Exclusive, Elite, or Cross), Coat Color, Gender (Colt, Filly, Stallion, Mare), Genotype (Z1-Z268), Birthday, Number of Races, Race Class (Class 1-5), and Win Percentage.
- Once you click on a horse, you can view its properties, as well as its stats
- If a horse is for sale, you can click ‘Buy Now’ to purchase immediately or ‘Make Offer’ to name your price
- Approve the sale in MetaMask, wait for the transaction to finish, and you’re now a new racehorse owner! The horse will automatically be transferred to your stable once the transaction is complete, and you should be able to view it on both Zed.Run and OpenSea.
