Zed Run offers a variety of Genesis racehorses during drops at different price points. All 38,000 Genesis racehorses are split between different bloodlines, with a set number of horses for each one. Below is the historical pricing for Genesis horses based on previous drops, in dollars. Credits to @RemyRacing for the drop price information.
Looking at the percentage changes from one drop to the next, Z1-Z5s have had the highest variance, with the last drop being over 100% more than the previous drop. The average percentage change for both Z1 (Nakamoto) and Z3 (Szabo) both currently are the highest at 57%. The Z10 (Buterin) has had the most consistent pricing, sitting at an average percentage change of 12%.
As the change in prices have been wildly different for each drop, there is no way to accurately predict what the next drop (Echo drop) prices will be. However, averaging the percentage change from all the drops, our best guess would be the amounts in the ‘Price Prediction’ column. Zed Run usually release prices at the time of drop, so it will be exciting to see whether we see $50,000 drop prices this time around.
If you are not able to snag a horse during a drop, you can purchase horses on OpenSea (Matic). The prices in the secondary market are a lot higher than drop prices, so it is important to consider whether you want to purchase a horse immediately, or try your luck on the next drop. For information on how to buy horses in the secondary market, read this article.
